By default, we only price test in store default currency, and anyone browsing not in store default currency are excluded from the tests. For example, if your Shopify store is set to USD, only USD traffic will be included in the test, and if your Shopify store is set to EUR, only EUR traffic will be included in the test.
Non-store-currency traffic will all see the price that is set in Shopify in their currency. If the test has been set up using checkout scripts, note that this will be the highest price in the test converted to foreign currency. If the test has been set up using duplicate products, note that this will be the control price converted to foreign currency. This can be can be circumvented by using Shopify Markets!
If you are interested in testing multiple currencies for either a Pricing or Shipping test, we will need to configure it on your behalf - please reach out to support@intelligems.io to set this up. Please note that the following must be true for multiple currencies to be possible:
- If it is for a pricing test, the test must be set up using duplicate products rather than checkout scripts
- You do not use rounding rules (i.e., for non-store currency, price = Shopify's conversion rate * price set in Shopify)
❗Testing with multiple currencies is currently only supported on the Plus Plan. Please reach out to support@intelligems.com if you are interested in this feature.
